School is almost out and Uintah County Library is ready to help fill the time with summer activities. ‘Songs & Stories’ will be Wednesdays at 10am and 11am. ‘Lego Club’ is Wednesdays from 4 to 5pm. ‘Yoga Stories’ is Thursdays at 10am. ‘Code Club’ (for ages 8 to 17) is Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30pm. Then of course is the annual Summer Reading program with activities on Tuesdays from 10am to noon. The Summer Reading program will be on the Beanstack app again this year. “We are so excited for our summer reading program and activities this year,” shares Librarian Mauri Ruppe. “After spending the last year in the middle of a pandemic, it will be great to get out, play, and interact with people. This can strengthen the immune system, is good for social interaction, can help with mental and physical health and, of course, reading is really good for the brain!” Download the Beanstack app to your device or visit www.beanstack.com and look up Uintah County Library to get ready to log minutes starting June 1st.
