Coming off a year like 2020 has been a real challenge, especially for students who experienced a major dose of upheaval all while trying to stay afloat in their classes. Keeping the focus on health and with that in mind, Evans Family Media partnered with USU-Uintah Basin for the “Healthy Body – Healthy Mind” Scholarship competition. Anyone planning to attend USU-Uintah Basin during the 2021 – 2022 school year was invited to submit an essay on what it means to them to have a healthy body and a healthy mind. The scholarship winners were announced this week with Jacob Issacson being awarded first place and a $2,500 dollar scholarship, Rebecca Perry being awarded second place and a $1,000 dollar scholarship, and Amber Chandler being awarded third place and a $500 dollar scholarship.
