Senator Mike Lee continues to remain involved in pushing back against the Biden Administration’s oil and gas leasing moratorium. Most recently, Senator Lee participated in a hearing that took place on Tuesday in Washington, DC to examine energy development on federal lands, focusing on the current status of the Department of the Interior’s onshore oil and gas leasing program. Lee didn’t miss the opportunity to ask questions and participate. In particular, Lee emphasized that the law requires the sale of leases on a quarterly basis and that the President’s Executive Order is inconsistent with the law.
