The Uintah High Science Olympiad Team did great at state competition last month. Twenty-six Uintah students competed on two different teams in 23 separate events. “We took 8th in the regular events and 1st in the non-counting engineering events, which do not count this year toward the final score and therefore are awarded separately because of COVID,” Science Club advisor Dean Richens said. Many students did great and placed. Those that received a 1st place award were Kylee Anderson, Shelby Accuttoroop, Taysia Richens, Annabelle Johnson, Adam Semadeni, and Daniel Sellers. Congratulations to all the Science Olympians!
