UDOT wants the public to know that work on the Starvation Bridge will soon be underway. “Drivers should expect travel delays up to 15 minutes,” shares UDOT. “The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises drivers to plan for travel delays on U.S. 40 at Starvation Reservoir beginning this spring through and summer. Construction crews will perform bridge repair work where the highway crosses the reservoir west of Duchesne. Work is scheduled to begin as early as Monday, March 29th, with lane restrictions being in place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to resurface the highway. Motorists should anticipate one-way traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals.” The project is renovating the parapet walls, repairing and resurfacing the concrete bridge deck to extend the life of the roadway.
