Although Governor Cox announced recently that Wednesday, March 24th would be the date that all Utahns age 16 and up will be eligible to make appointments to be vaccinated, the opportunity is available here sooner than that. The Fort Duchesne Uintah-Ouray Indian Health Service is having their COVID vaccination clinics this week on Tuesday (today) and Thursday and they have vaccinations available for anyone 16-years-old or older. Indian Health Services are able to vaccinate 16 and up because they have the Pfizer vaccine. The clinic is being held at the Fort Duchesne Community Building from 1pm to 4pm today and Thursday. If a community member got their first dose on February 23rd or 25th then now is the time to get the 2nd Moderna dose.
