Duchesne County Moves to Low COVID-19 Transmission Index Level

The COVID-19 Transmission Index Level has moved from Moderate to Low in Duchesne County this week. Uintah County remains at the High Level and Daggett County at the Low Transmission Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 12 percent and there were 161 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 2 percent and there were 16 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there were 0 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 4 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and no new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 70 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 12 percent.
