They’ve done it again! Uintah High School shared on Tuesday that the Uintah High FFA chapter harvested several big wins at state last week, including the election of one of its members as a state FFA officer. Bradley Wilson was elected to serve as the 2021-22 Utah FFA Association State Treasurer. “We have only had two state FFA officers from Uintah in the last 22 years,” Uintah FFA Advisor David Wilson said. “(Bradley) was selected through a comprehensive application, testing and interview process by a nominating committee made up FFA members from throughout Utah. He and the other five newly elected state officers will serve the more than 6,700 FFA members of Utah.” Utah’s FFA state officers will also represent Utah at the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis. Uintah FFA was selected as a Five Star Chapter and received a Superior Chapter Award. Several of its members also earned individual recognition. Stetson Rothlisberger was the Utah FFA Star Greenhand winner in Agribusiness. Denim Lister won the Utah FFA Proficiency Award in Swine Production and was the Utah FFA Star Farmer first runner-up. Kylee McKee won the Utah FFA Proficiency Award in Fruit Production and Alexanndria Veibell won the Utah FFA Proficiency Award in Nursery Operations. Aysia Massey was third runner-up for Utah FFA Star Greenhand in placement. The Utah FFA Degree recipients from Uintah FFA were Jimmie McGuire, Brendon Gardiner, Denim Lister, McKenzie Lindsay and Cecilee Manning. The Utah FFA Degree is the second highest award that can be achieved in FFA, with less than 3 percent of all members earning it. Last year, Bradley Wilson and Kylee McKee earned the Utah FFA Degree. Congratulations to Uintah FFA!
