COVID-19 Transmission Index Level (3/11 – 3/17)

COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels have remained the same for this week with Uintah County at the High Level, Duchesne County at the Moderate Level and Daggett County at the Low Transmission Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 12 percent and there were 158 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 5 percent and there were 24 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there were 0 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 8 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 1 new COVID-19 related death. Statewide total ICU utilization was 69 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 15 percent.
