Work has resumed on the UDOT Main Street Drainage Improvement Project on Highway 40 in Vernal. According to an update from the Utah Department of Transportation, crews are finishing work in Section 1 from 400 West to Vernal Avenue and will be working in Section 2 and 3 as well. Right and left turns for eastbound traffic are also restricted when active work is underway. Section 2 will include work at the Vernal Avenue intersection with storm drain and concrete replacement scheduled to begin the week of March 15th. Section 3 work from Vernal Avenue to 500 East will include rotomilling in preparation for excavation and storm drain installation which is on the schedule as underway this week. Crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7am to 5:30pm. No water service or utility interruptions are anticipated.
