The COVID-19 vaccine has been opened up to more Utahns. During the state’s COVID-19 Thursday press conference it was announced that vaccinations are now being opened to anyone 50 and over in Utah. Governor Spencer Cox said appointments could be made starting March 8th but TriCounty Health has already opened the 50 and older for scheduling on their website. The state also opened the vaccine up for anyone with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes where before it was limited to just those with uncontrolled diabetes. Visit www.tricountyhealth.com to schedule the vaccine for yourself or qualifying loved ones. TriCounty Health vaccinations are taking place in Vernal at the Uintah Conference Center and in Roosevelt at the old Shopko building.
