Uintah High School would like to recognize the work and achievements of Eoin O’Hearn. This young man is in the running for two very distinguished awards. First, he is a finalist for the 2021 National Merit Scholarship. Uintah High School shares that “to become a Finalist, Eoin submitted a detailed application providing information about his academic record, participation in school and community activities, leadership abilities, and honors and awards received. Winners will be announced in March.” The second award is the United States Presidential Scholars Program Nominee. “Eoin will now submit an application and, if chosen, is qualified to attend the National Recognition Program in Washington, DC, in June to receive the Presidential Scholars medallion during a White House sponsored ceremony.” The community joins the school in voicing congratulations in his achievements and a thank you for the way he has been representing the community.
