With COVID putting many things on hold for the last year, the Uintah Basin Orchestra and Chorus is looking to the future and getting up and going again. They announced this week that they have found a new Artistic Director, Dr. Cory Evans. Dr. Evans is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Utah State University and serves as Associate Director of the American Festival Chorus. “UBOC and members of the community who attended our 2019 Christmas Concert are familiar with Dr. Evans, as he was our guest conductor for that concert,” shares the announcement. “We absolutely loved working with Dr. Evans in 2019, and we are very excited to work with him again on a more permanent basis. Thank you for joining our organization, Dr. Evans, and welcome to the Uintah Basin Orchestra and Chorus!”
