Duchesne County has announced the theme of the 2021 Duchesne County Fair and are asking for help from communities throughout Duchesne County. The 2021 theme is “Hometown Heroes” and along with it the event organizers are asking for your nominations of those who fit that title. “In case you’re wondering how we define a ‘hometown hero’, that would be it,” shares Monday’s announcement. “You can nominate a police officer, firefighter, paramedic, EMT, teacher, active or military personnel, doctor, nurse, 911 dispatcher or any type of person who makes heroism their life’s work. We’re asking for your help. We would like you, as members of Duchesne County to nominate individuals for us to spotlight throughout the year.” Those wanting to make a nomination can send a short bio and photograph of the person you’d like to highlight to duchesnefair@gmail.com.
