Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert introduced her first three bills as a member of Congress and is once again gaining some attention in the political arena. The first is HR 374, the World Health Organization Accountability Act, to ensure “America holds both the WHO and China accountable for their failures that contributed to the outbreak of COVID-19.” Second is HR375, the No Mask Mandates Act, to block “the Biden federal mask mandate.” Third is HR 376, the Paris Agreement Constitutional Treaty Act, to block “all actions and funds for carrying out the Paris Agreement until a treaty is passed by the U.S. Senate.”  Each bill was in response to Orders from President Biden. Referring to HR 376 Representative Boebert stated the following: “Unilaterally entering the Paris Agreement was wrong in 2016 and it’s wrong now. Responsible energy production supports more than 230,000 Colorado jobs. The Paris Agreement puts these jobs at risk and will increase energy costs. $4 per gallon gasoline, here we go again!” For other statements from Boebert on the three bills she introduced, visit boebert.house.gov.
