Help Former Moffat County High School Student Evan Baker

Although Evan Baker and his family are no longer residents of Craig, Colorado that hasn’t stopped the community of Moffat County in showing their support to Evan’s current struggles. Evan is just 17 years old  and battling HLH (Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis). HLH is a severe systemic inflammatory syndrome that can be fatal. This syndrome can sometimes occur in average people with medical problems that cause a strong activation of the immune system, such as infection or cancer. He was originally diagnosed with strep but when it went away and health issues persisted he was diagnosed with mononucleosis that turned into HLH. During his fight with the disease he lost almost 40 pounds putting him just over 100 pounds. He was recently released from the hospital in California but his journey is not done. A gofundme has been set up to help cover Evan’s numerous medical expenses. Visit ‘Evan Baker’ Go Fund Me page if you can help this young man.
