Great Jensen Pumpkin Festival on Saturday

It can be fun when a good idea catches on to become a tradition. In 1996, Split Mountain Garden Center brought together friends and family to have a bonfire and share some apple cider. In that year there was around 250 people who attended. The get together has become an event with over 2,000 people who come each year and take part. The 24th annual Great Jensen Pumpkin Festival will be happening this Saturday with the theme of ‘2020 Vision’. Come to enjoy all the activities including a marshmallow roast, hay maze, haunted walk, movies, and more. There will also be the pumpkin displays to visit and food to eat. While the event is free there is a $3 parking fee with all proceeds being donated to local charities. There are no sales and no pets allowed. Come by this Saturday to the Jensen Park from 6pm to 9pm. Questions can be directed to Monica at 435-218-1684 or Chesney at 435-828-2899.
