TriCounty Health Department on Governor’s New Guidelines

The COVID-19 Count on TriCountyHealth.com reported on Wednesday that there are 42 Active Cases of COVID-19 in Uintah County, 19 Active Cases in Duchesne County, and 6 Active Cases reported by the Ute Tribe, for a total of 65 Active Cases in the TriCounty Health District. TriCounty Health Department shared on Wednesday that the Governor’s newly announced COVID-19 Transmission Index gives data driven risk levels for each county in Utah and Uintah is in Moderate while Duchesne and Daggett are in Low Risk. As a result, “from Thursday, October 15th, to Thursday, October 29th, a statewide Public Health Directive is in place requiring masks in all public places where physical distancing is not possible (in Moderate and High counties, encouraged in Low) and no social/casual gatherings over 10 people.”
