The home of your dreams is just some sweat equity away. The Uintah Basin Association of Governments has a program entitled Self Help Housing that involves local families helping each build their homes. Groups are formulated and qualified by UBAOG and USDA/Rural Development, which utilizes a USDA Rural Development Direct Loan for the program participants. The program is now accepting applications for construction to begin in Spring of 2021. Uintah County, Duchesne County, and Daggett County will each have two groups determined by income level.
