Uintah School District took the time to brag about an exceptional student on Friday in their District update. Among many accomplishments, Uintah High Senior Eoin O’Hearn earned a perfect score on the ACT test. “Eoin took the standardized college admissions test in June, earning a score of 36,” shared Uintah School District. “Only 0.195 percent of students who take the test earn a perfect score of 36, according to the ACT website. Eoin is the son of Brian and Diane O’Hearn, of Vernal. He has also qualified as a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. More than 1.5 million juniors entered the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT last year. Semifinalists represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest scoring entrants in each state.” We join the community in congratulating Eoin O’Hearn and thank him for representing the Uintah Basin so well!
