The high wind warning was definitely needed as Sunday and Monday saw the East Fork Fire grow and move. Fire managers are cooperating with the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office to undertake a damage assessment for homes and infrastructure that have been affected by the East Fork Fire. The high winds helped the fire make significant runs toward Moon Lake and the surrounding areas. The Duchesne County Sheriff will notify landowners and other forest users whose property has been impacted by the fire.
