Roosevelt Aquatic Center Temporarily Closed Due to COVID-19

The Roosevelt Aquatic Center is temporarily closed after a staff member received a positive COVID-19 test result. A press release issued on Wednesday shared the following: TriCounty Health Department is conducting an investigation to determine the possible spread of the virus and will contact any members of the public who may have been exposed. The length of the closure is unknown at this time. Administrative staff at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center was made aware of the positive case of COVID-19 on the evening of Tuesday, July 21st. An immediate closure of the facility was implemented, and City officials reached out to TriCounty Health Department to create an action plan. The Roosevelt Aquatic Center will remain closed for an unknown length of time while the TriCounty Health Department investigation is ongoing. During the closure, the entire facility will be deep cleaned and disinfected. Some members of staff who may have been exposed have been asked to self-isolate, and any members of the public who may have been exposed will be contacted by TriCounty Health. Refunds will be offered for any classes or reservations scheduled during the closure.
