The Allen Fire in Daggett County has been held to 40 acres as of last report and remains at 90 percent contained. Utah Fire Info reports that command of the fire transitioned from a Type 3 to a Type 4 organization on Sunday morning. “In addition to the Type 4 incident commander, the fire will be staffed by the Bonneville Hotshots and one BLM engine crew from the Green River District in Vernal,” shares Utah Fire Info. “The Silver States Hotshots and a helicopter are scheduled to be released from the Allen Fire, but will remain in Vernal for the next few days due to the possibility of thunderstorms with lightning.”
