The Fourth of July parade in Vernal was a joyful event filled with summer fun and patriotism and Evans Family Media had a great time organizing the 98.5 The Fox ‘Kid’s Bike Parade’ which was essentially a parade within the parade. 75 kids ages 5 to 16 demonstrated their patriotism by decorating their bikes and riding together along the parade route. They all did a great job and deserve to know that the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced that the Kid’s Bike Parade was awarded the People’s Choice Award. “Throughout the year, we organize many community events and this by far was the most fun because it involved our kids,” shares Evans Family Media. “We’re proud of our youth who were quick to demonstrate their pride in our American heritage and culture during the independence day celebration.” The Fourth of July Kid’s Bike Parade was sponsored by Davis Food and Drug, Dino Family Dental, The Galleries, and 98.5 The Fox.
