First Ute Tribe COVID-19 Case Reported by TriCounty Health Department

TriCounty Health Department has reported the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Ute Indian Tribe. The Wednesday COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com shows that the total of confirmed cases for the entire TriCounty Health District is 52. Uintah County has ticked up to 36 cases with 25 now Recovered while the total cases in Duchesne County remain at 15 with 11 now Recovered. For the duration of the pandemic up until yesterday, Daggett County and the Ute Indian Tribe remained at zero cases of COVID-19. That has now changed with the Wednesday report showing the Ute Indian Tribe with 1 case.  The estimated number of tests conducted in the tri-county area is reported at 5,349.
