Hundreds of American flags will greet attendees at a special event in Vernal. A special Veterans Appreciation Event will take place tonight at the Vernal Walking Park where the ‘Flags For Freedom’ are on display. “We have 550 American flags set up and the veterans will do a 21 Gun Salute and play Taps,” shares Vernal Chamber Director Joel Brown. All are encouraged to come show your patriotism and appreciation for our veterans. The event starts at 6pm.
