A Message From Uintah County Sheriff Steve Labrum

by | Jul 3, 2020 | News | 0 comments

Uintah County Sheriff Steve Labrum shared a message with the community on Thursday stating first and foremost his request that all please be safe and responsible as we celebrate our freedoms this Independence Day. Sheriff Labrum then offered his appreciation for the community support and kindness shown towards local law enforcement as well as his personal appreciation for veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders. In response to those who have asked him his thoughts on current events in the United States, Sheriff Labrum shared several sections from the Constitution and from Utah state code. “I have spent nearly 25 years as a law enforcement officer defending the rights set forth in the Constitution and upholding the laws of our country and our state,” shares Sheriff Labrum. “I consider it a sacred duty, and I appreciate the members of our community who feel the same way. Thank you again for the support you’ve shown for our first responders in recent weeks, and have a safe and happy Independence Day!” For the entire message, visit the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
