Duchesne County Primary Election Preliminary Results

The Mail Only Duchesne County Primary Election had a total of 4,247 ballots counted on Tuesday for a total preliminary voter turnout in Duchesne County of 48 percent. For the Republican for House District 1 race, Kerry Gibson received the most votes with 43.27 percent followed by Blake Moore with 22.11 percent. For the Democratic House for District 1 race, Darren Parry received 50.26 percent and Jamie Cheek received 49.74 percent. For Utah Governor and Lieutenant Governor, the Hughes/Iverson ticket received 43.67 percent followed by Cox/Henderson with 27.3 percent, Huntsman Jr./Kaufusi with 18.98 percent, and Wright/Bishop with 10.05 percent. For Utah Attorney General, Sean Reyes received 60.65 percent and David Leavitt received 39.35 percent. For Duchesne County School Board District 4, Brandon Bench received 43.88 percent of the vote followed by Wyatt Gines with 35.57 percent and G.
