A local author is sharing her work tonight at a Meet and Greet at the library and all are invited. Kerry Mitchell has spent her life creating stories about life’s most important lessons and tonight she will be highlighting two of her books that are already in print and available on Amazon.com. The first book is called ‘Truth’ and explores what truth is and how to find it. The second book, ‘The Feast’, is about a poor young girl who longs to dine with the king but feels unworthy. While some may consider these children’s books, they are appreciated and enjoyed by all ages. “I began writing these Max Lucado style stories several years ago,” shares Mitchell. “My family, especially my husband, encouraged me to publish them. It is my hope that these stories will be a bridge to discussion about important topics for families, especially in these troubled times.” All are invited to tonight’s Meet and Greet from 6:30 to 7:45pm at the Uintah County Library. Refreshments will be served.
