A partnership between Uintah County Library and the USU Extension is providing a unique activity to help families keep up on their reading during the summer and still be active as a family. The Community Read ‘N Walk uses yard signs to display popular story books. USU representative Ashley Stegeman explains that this fun activity is to “encourage everyone to get out and be active. We have a wonderful landscape that we live in,” shares Ashley. “Just get out there and enjoy. These Read ‘N Walks will be wonderful for all.” The Read ‘N Walk displays are set up every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm at a different park each week. For today, June 17th, the display is at the Tridell Community Center, next week it will be at the Richardson Park, and July 1st at the Randlett Community Center. For a complete list of destinations through July 22nd, visit the Uintah County Library Facebook page.
