COVID-19 has had a negative effect on all businesses across the Basin. In an effort to help businesses in Roosevelt, the City is working with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development to offer BEAR sub-grants of up to $1,000 dollars for Roosevelt City businesses that have suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic but the time to apply is ticking down. To be eligible the business must have a current Roosevelt City business license, a letter explaining how the business was negatively impacted by COVID-19, and a bill (or bills) equal to or greater then $1,000 dollars. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and at the discretion of Roosevelt City, until funds are depleted. Because these are grant dollars, not loans, businesses will not be required to pay the funds back. Applications can be accessed and submitted online at www.rooseveltcity.com/
