The first weekend of the Uintah Schools Education Foundation book sale went very well and all are invited to come find a treasure in the final two days of the sale taking place today and tomorrow. “The first two days far exceeded our expectations!” shares Foundation member Quinn Bennion. “Thousands of books are being placed back in the community and saved from the dump.” The Uintah School District’s Can-Do Crew has been collecting books for years as part of their recycling efforts. The books are 10 cents each or a bag for $2. The sale is more about saving the books than raising funds. Donations and funds will be given to the Uintah Schools Education Foundation for educational uses in our local schools. The final two days of the book sale are being held in Blue Building B behind Uintah Middle School on Friday, June 12th, and Saturday, June 13th, from 9am to 4pm each day.
