The Memorial holiday weekend will see an increase in traffic as families take to the road, some for the first time in months. Utah Highway Patrol is urging all to make safety the top travel priority following a jump last weekend in travel fatalities in Utah. Lt. Brett Gehring shares that there will be more troopers on the road enforcing the law. “As you recreate, please give yourself extra travel time,” shares Lt. Gehring. “Watch your speed, wear your seatbelts and be safe on the roads.” Utah Highway Patrol is committed to helping everyone get to their destination safely and hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend.
