The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is providing a new way to increase safety in the community. The Sheriff’s Office shared on Thursday that they have established a new Safe Exchange Zone in the front parking lot of the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office. This Safe Exchange Zone “can be used for child custody exchanges or other instances where people meet to do business, such as picking up an item purchased online.” The area is covered by 24 hour video surveillance to keep everyone safe. The Sheriff’s Office is located in Duchesne at 21554 West 8300 South.
