Memorial Day is observed each year on the last Monday of May as a day to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military and Memorial Day 2020 will be observed Monday, May 25th. The Uintah County American Legion Memorial Day Salute will be held Monday at noon at the Uintah County War Memorial, 149 East Main Street. The Duchesne County American Legion Memorial Day ceremonies will be held in Lapoint at 8:30am, Tridell at 9:00am, Hayden at 9:30am, Neola at 10:00am, Cedarview at 10:30am, and Roosevelt at noon. All are invited.
