TriCounty Health Department announced Thursday afternoon that Governor Herbert has approved the move of  the Tri-County area to the yellow low-risk phase of the Utah Leads Together Plan. They released the following, “On May 14th, 2020, Utah Governor Gary Herbert announced most of Utah, including the tri-county area, will be moving to Yellow (low-risk) phase of the Utah Leads Together Plan, taking effect 12:01 a.m. on May 16th, 2020. In Yellow, it is important to remember that high-risk individuals are still at risk and need to be taking appropriate measures by wearing face coverings when social distancing is not possible, tele-work if possible, and limiting physical interactions with other high-risk individuals. Utah Leads Together Phased Health Guidelines and more information will be accessible on [the] TriCounty Health Department COVID-19 Situational Update page. Maintaining a low-risk status and moving forward toward the Green (normal) phase of Utah Leads Together, will be a community effort. With everyone doing their part to stay healthy and protect the high-risk individuals in the community we can manage to progress back to normalcy.
