UDOT Highway 40 Strawberry Valley Construction Update

Construction resumed on Monday on the Highway 40 Strawberry Valley UDOT project. According to UDOT, crews will begin removing the roadway surface at MilePost 46 moving west. “Traffic will shift to the south side of the roadway, with pilot car operations. The speed limit will be reduced, and lanes will be restricted to 12 feet. Plan ahead for construction delays and allow extra travel time. Use alternate routes when possible. Drive safely and be aware of construction activities, speed limit reductions and workers near driving lanes.” Travel delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected and wide and heavy loads over 12 feet wide are now restricted. Daily construction activities are scheduled during daylight hours up to 7 days a week and as always please slow down in work zones. Do not drive drowsy or impaired, put away distracting devices, and always buckle up!
