Roosevelt City is asking Duchesne County residents to do better when it comes to the 2020 Census. There are 3203 total counties in the United States. Duchesne County is ranked 3054th among all counties. That means that there are only 149 counties in the entire US that has a lower response rate. Roosevelt City states, “WE MUST DO BETTER. The future of our county is at stake, and we need you to step up. Duchesne County residents, we need you to complete your Census questionnaires. The stakes are millions of dollars in federal funding that support services we all need–hospitals, schools, highways, and much more. Businesses also use Census data to decide where to build stores, factories, etc.” Individuals can fill out the census online at www.my2020census.gov. You will be asked for a 12 digit Census ID, which you should have received by mail. Even if you haven’t received the ID there is a link entitled “If you do not have a Census ID, click here.” You will be able to enter your street addresses and proceed with the questionnaire. You can also complete the Census by phone at 844-330-2020.
