The Duchesne County School District announced Wednesday their plans for 2020 graduation ceremonies. “Right now the plan is to work with VTV to create virtual graduations,” shares Student Services Director Scott Forsyth. “All graduation speakers, diploma awardings, etc. will be pre-recorded and then broadcast over VTV to families in their homes… There are no plans to postpone graduation until Fall 2020. That would cause too many conflicts with college, military service, religious service, etc.”
There could be some variations in plans from school to school so seniors and their families should plan to hear from their school with specific instructions. The District expressed their thanks to parents, students, and other community members for their understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.
