Recycling is a worthwhile effort but for the time being, Uintah County’s program is unavailable and the community is asked to please stop piling their recycling items at the drop off locations. The local recycling program is run by the Uintah School District’s Can Do Crew. The District announced the program’s temporary closure on April 2nd for the safety of the program staff. Uintah School District has said they will announce when the recycling program resumes. For now, please DO NOT drop off your cardboard or other recyclables at the Can Do Crew building behind Uintah Middle School.
