Uintah Basin Healthcare Implements Tent Triage System for Roosevelt Campus

Uintah Basin Healthcare has implemented a tent triage system for all members of the public who access their Roosevelt campus. All who are coming to the facility will need to enter at 200 North 300 West and proceed to the tent located in the parking lot across from the ER. You will be asked “What brings you here today?” If you are going to the Drive-Up pharmacy, you will proceed to your intended destination. Otherwise, you will proceed with screening at the tent. If you are cleared to enter, you will be given a dated, color-coded sticker to place on your shirt corresponding to a color-coded access point where door screeners will allow you to enter. If you have respiratory complaints, depending on the situation, you will either be directed to our Respiratory Clinic for treatment, directed to receive COVID-19 drive-thru testing, or sent to the ER. “Although this process may require you to arrive a few minutes early, we feel this added precautionary measure is an effective way to further protect our staff, patients and our community,” shares the UBH announcement. The process began on the morning of Friday, April 3rd, and will continue until at least May 1st. It is also worth noting that there is currently a NO visitors allowed policy and helpers are only allowed in certain circumstances including but not limited to 1 helper with a laboring mother and newborn and 2 alternating helpers per day for patients under age 18.
