There has been a lot of public discussion and opinions shared on social media about the handling of those in Uintah County needing to be isolated due to possible exposure to COVID-19 or in one case, having a positive test result. TriCounty Health Department released the following statement to Evans Family Media on Wednesday: “TriCounty Health Department has established an isolation and quarantine location for individuals that may need it. We have done this to mitigate any unnecessary exposure of other individuals and households within our community. This property has been closed to public access by an order from the Health Officer. Any unauthorized access to the property is prohibited. Violators will be subject to both criminal and civil penalties. Law enforcement is assisting to ensure compliance with the property closure order.”
