Louis Armstrong once said “If you have to ask what jazz is, you’ll never know.” So instead of asking questions, just plan to get involved! Union High School has an annual Jazz Night coming up where the community can get their shoes tapping and hips moving. The event is a perfect Valentine’s Day date. There are two options for the evening. You can buy a ticket for a couple with dinner that has two menu choices for the catered banquet that costs $55 dollars or you can buy a dancing ticket that is $10 per person. The event will be Saturday, February 15th at the Cougar Commons from 6:30pm to 10pm but tickets need to be purchased by Saturday, February 8th. The UHS Jazz Cats will be providing the live music and all the proceeds exclusively benefit the Union High School Band and Orchestra.
