USU Uintah Basin is doing something special to support, celebrate, and honor the women of the Uintah Basin with their Year of the Woman campaign. Karilynne Pearson was selected as the Week 4 representative and the final to be highlighted in the Arts and Culture category. Utah State University Uintah Basin shared a video highlighting her on their Facebook page. As the person who nominated Karilynne, her daughter Nashelle Jackson shares that Karilynne does so much for the community on so many levels, as a performer, musician, member of her church, a friend and mother. She participates as an actress and shares her talents with the community through theatre and is famous for her baking, always having cookies to share.
