It’s official. As of Monday, Basin Clinic is a member of the Uintah Basin Healthcare family. In a press release shared last fall it explains that the pair have a long history of partnering to improve services to the Basin. “We have joined forces in the past to lease buildings to this group of talented physicians, to provide lab and radiology services on-site and to build a strong foundation which has led to where we are today,” shared the release. Doctors Kirk Woodward, Karl Breitenbach, Rodney Anderson, and Michael Olsen signed official documents with Uintah Basin Healthcare on October 3rd and announced that the anticipated go-live date would be January 27th. All was in order and Uintah Basin Healthcare announced yesterday that the transition is now official. “At the end of the day,” shared UBG President and CEO Jim Marshall, “this agreement will allow the Basin Clinic physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants and employees to focus on what they do best while we provide the necessary business operations just as we do with our existing clinic practices.”
