Do you remember the good old days in Cub Scouts and the excitement of getting the Pinewood Derby block of wood and sculpting the fastest things on the track? Now those 21 and older have a chance to relive the fun and it’s all for charity. The Vernal Elks Lodge will be having their second annual Adult Pinewood Derby on Saturday, March 7th. The cost is $25.00 dollars (and includes the car kit). The funds raised will go to our local Special Olympics. The event will have prizes and trophies. Car check in will be at 3:30pm. The race itself kicks off at 4:30pm. It’s not too late to purchase your car at the Vernal Elks Lodge but you better hurry. For more information and rules, call 435-790-0147.
