The Utah Attorney General Sean D. Reyes is inviting the fifth graders of Utah, including the Uintah Basin, to take part in the National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest. This nationwide contest is hosted by the Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to help promote awareness among teachers, parents/guardians, and children and engage them in discussions about safety. Applicants need to be in the fifth grade with artwork that has the phrase “Bringing Our Missing Children Home”. Artwork can include acrylics, watercolor, pencils, charcoal, magic markers, spray paint, crayons, and pastels but not digitally produced images. The finished poster needs to have the measurements of 8 1/2 by 14 inches. There will be a state winner who then will be entered in the national judging competition.
