There is a high probability that with 11.1% percent of those in the Uintah Basin suffering from it you might know someone with Type 2 Diabetes. In fact, it might be a family member. According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, more than 1 out of 3 American adults have prediabetes, a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough yet to be diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetes.
