On Wednesday, December 4th, Duchesne County School District had a career fair for all seventh and eighth graders from Roosevelt Junior High, Altamont High, and Tabiona High held at the Roosevelt Junior High School. It included a total of 704 students with 26 different breakout sessions and approximately 36 presenters from various companies and businesses. This career fair was for the students to attend a variety of sessions to explore different job and career opportunities. This year’s theme was, “When there’s a will, There’s a way.” Keynote speaker, Sid Smith, exemplified the theme as a local double amputee that recently completed a full Iron Man competition.
