The Uintah School District has announced the appointment of a new business administrator to replace Scott Ruppe who resigned from the district, effective at the end of December. In a press release issued Wednesday morning, the Uintah School District announced that, pending board approval, Jason Johnson has been appointed to the business administrator position. “No stranger to the Uintah School District, Johnson worked for 2 ½ years as the district controller in the accounting department,” shares the announcement. “He also filled in as the district’s interim business administrator from November 2018 until April 2019. Johnson has worked in public accounting for a number of years, most recently for an auditing firm in Las Vegas.” The appointment requires approval from the Uintah School Board which meets again on December 11th for its regularly scheduled business meeting.
